NAH BRO WTH ATLEAST THIS HAD QUALITY AND EFFORT STOP
that guy singlehandedly brought your rating down by a star and a half
gotta love averages lol!!
better versions of moves arent a good idea, thats just fattening up the meta to be slaughtered by balance team
Yup, 's why I changed it into what it is.
It’s such a lame skill and yet it shares the same stat requirement as axe-slash (Seriously, this is just a rushdown finisher but with 10x more knockback)
it should have drawbacks, like its slower than a normal rush move. When the grapple attack is being used, a bar will appear with a line. If the opponent clicks while the line is in the green area, they parry you and you are temporarily stunned.
Making it slower would make sense, actually. I mean, this game already has fighting game mechanics galore. Making the grapples slower would fit right in.
man why do people rate you low tier on lists
We’re pretty easy to predict, mostly. I mean, our whole schtick is “slowly lumber forwards and try to grab.” We shine best as knowledge checks against the inexperienced or arrogant.
Alright I do not feel I should rate this one but I do want to say that in PvE I gave up completely on using grabbing moves.
Mainly because every time I use them best case scenario they are already mid attack and the grapple does nothing and worse case scenario it does nothing but I also eat the NPC attack. Overall I felt those damn NPCs refuse to be grabbed but they sure love grabbing you.
I would love any grab attack if I feel I can ACTUALLY grab them rather than feeling I should have used any other move instead.
What would happen if you used a leg fighting style for it like iron leg would you instead sweep them or something?
Oh, actually, the only one that would really not fit Iron Leg would be Tackle. There are plenty of IRL examples of people using their legs to throw someone or slam them to the ground, and those kinds of moves are really cool in my eyes. Tackling though, yeah no, Iron Leg will just have to tackle the same way as most styles, sadly.
I have noticed that Snare and Rushdown are really finicky these days. But at the same time, my Weapon-based grabs usually work just fine, which confuses the Hell out of me.
a fun way to implement the throw ability into cannonfist would be that the user grab the oponent by the head/torso/arm/leg and then spin then a bit around to build up momentum and then throw them. The player/npc thrown would also act as a projectile that can damage other people/npcs and knock them a bit.
I think it would make a fun little gimmick that could be used against multiple oponent to set a bit of chaos in their group (if they are players)
Then you should watch Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (i think its written like this) its a martial art solelly based on grapples and using your opponent strenght against him. Its really cool and impressive.
