The energy curse provides infinite energy to its user.
This means that cursebeard needs an amount of energy greater than infinity in order to move, as his whole being is infinite energy.
i mean its experimental, lazarus curse is experimental and it doesnt turn you into lazarus
we also have to take into account that all curses technically provide infinite energy in the form of the matter/effects that it creates, unless you need energy in order to use a curse that is.
guys what the frick does mean? is that a no?
It means “Yes”, “Correct”, “I second that”, “Understood”.
no it obviously means “skibidi toilet is my goat” or some shit idk i dont look into gen alpha (that much)
So vetex is going to code curses for them to only be used by bosses? seems like a waste to me.
I think him being able to do telepathy isn’t inherently a thing the growth curse let’s him do. It’s more likely to be something someone can do with magic in general.
I’m chill with it being experimental but I wouldn’t jump to saying it’s clear. Having a non-magic effect doesn’t automatically make something non-elemental. Especially with the fact that we know for sure the growth curse is elemental and the crux of the argument against that was the non-magic effects of fusing with plants/telepathy/etc.
Plus calling it a non-magic effect is a bit presumptuous, infinite energy could very well just be a byproduct of being literally made of energy. We also only got a single line of anything from the lore doc related to the energy curse being used and it was that infinite energy thing. I don’t think that’s enough to definitively say that it doesn’t let the user transform into energy and shoot energy blasts like an elemental curse.
Actually I just remembered this is SUPER old (2018 old) concept post that could’ve been retconned, but it shows the energy curse also being able to shoot energy.
AGAIN, it’s entirely possible that the energy curse is experimental (esp. since we have the nirvana curse giving huge amounts of knowledge setting a precedent for those types of experimental curses) and I’m completely cool with that. But dismissing the possibility that it’s elemental based on ONE ability it has without any other info is exactly why people were thinking the growth curse was experimental.
no, cause it actually used to be an experimental curse until now i believe
anyway, i guess we can hope for plant magic as a lost now, that’ll be nice
Yes, but it doesn’t have a magic
Cursebeard used all 3 of his curses to the fullest extent except the energy “magic”, unless vetex changed it after writing him there’s basically 0 chance it’s actually a rugpull elemental curse
plant and pan spirit weapons might have similar synergies
THEY TOOK MY FUCKING HP!? (cs)
y’know what hold up instead of derailing more imma stop being a coward and just ping him in the patreon chat since I got another question about curses I want to ask anyway. here’s to hoping he answers
ok then
thats weird, i coulda sworn it was experimental
Same
Also yes I am in blueyonder’s walls
wonder if we’ll get energy magic as a lost then, probably not i think though
mfw the last part messes up my oc lore
(if anybody saw me change the image don’t blame me I thought of a better image)
but they really be gatekeeping the experimental curses, 3 of them that were thought to be experimental have been pluto’d to being elemental lol
i now know of two (yes, two) experimental curses
####### and lazarus
as opposed to over 30 elemental ones
