Old lost spell concepts

Burst Attack/Locking Blast - described here as a blast that hits multiple times or sticks to the target and deal DoT damage respectively - has been added as Javelin which both sticks to the target and hits multiple times
Zone is probably like Shura’s acid cloud.

Transformation was used by King Calvus as his hair starts glowing and he manifests a magic crown in his second form.


Old mastery spell concepts

Mastery was going to be a stage where you gain fine control over your magic, allowing you to create shapes and stuff out of it.

None of these spells have been added yet though, but we’ll see.


‘Awakened’ spell concepts

Originally, players would be able to ‘awaken’ their first magic, essentially giving them some of the abilities of a Sea Curse (like circle-less casting and the ability to control existing instances of the element)

‘Breath’ is currently ingame as Surge, however ‘Rush’ and ‘Melee Attack’ exist as Crash and Rushdown respectively, which are actually fstyle techniques.

I wonder how many of these planned spells will eventually make it in the game.

I guess this was just a coincidence, or maybe vetex thought arcsphere would be a cool name for an accessory.

Cool factor is importznt.
Also I love the fact zone is just domain expansion
