magma → turns into a boulder underwater and keeps going
explosion → creates a decently powerful medium range shockwave from the blast
plasma → ???
fire → ???
ash → ??? (ash can already be used underwater right?)
lightning → ???
light → ???
maybe plasma and fire can create compressed steam projectiles underwater trapped in a bubble that explode against a target or just dissipate on their own.
still leaves light, lightning, and ash to figure out what they could do underwater…
I tried to kill like two jaw sharks but I both failed because I kept getting rampaged by tiger and great white sharks.
And whenever I used slient blades and died right after the game would break and I wouldn’t be able to T-jump, dash, use weapons, sprint, non of that and it was just annoying. You can’t even reset to fix it and you need to make a rejoin in order to fix it
idk about lightning but a friend of mine uses light and he was kicking poison jaws a$$ with me earlier
maybe travel for a bit but QUICKLY get smaller over time? maybe create steam aoe too or smt
i like realism and all but fcking several magics over and make them useless underwater in a sea-based game is kinda rude
ash could explode immediately but still deal dmg if close enough and also create ash cloud that lasts much shorter that normal
proposals for ash, lightning, and light when used underwater:
light will function normally but have much shorter range.
lightning becomes MUCH faster and has increased AoE, but it’s damage is lowered.
ash becomes a compressed dark ball of smog that functions similarly to fire/plasma
Ash already creates a super close range shockwave
If I’m gonna be honest ash and fire should just disappear in water it doesnt make sense for it to do anything else (coming from an ash user)
so to recap
→ turns into an earth type attack underwater.
→ creates a medium range shockwave
→ greatly increased speed, increased AoE, weaker damage.
→ no change, less range.
→ turns into a steam projectile
→ basically the same thing that fire/plasma does but with a different visual effect, creates a cloud of pollution that deals DoT, can be seen from the surface as a black puddle in the ocean.
