Yeah, compared to the rest of their kits, the blast spam is ridiculously overtuned.
imo “dodging” the strafe should reduce damage by 100% like it used to do
haha imagine if. If there. there was a system that seperated. pvp and pve so. that
dodging can be iframes again on pve while it stays the same way from the current game in pvp tag
if only ![]()
likely seriously dodge iframes would make high tier dragon fights more fun and high tension
i had fun timing and dodging high dmg attacks when it was still iframes during octavious’ fight
That was a feature at the beginning of FR then it was removed
The main, PvE part of the game will get assfucked by balancing of utter side content, PvP, and PvErs will not complain.
Fighting dragons in the far reaches feels terrible. I am blinded 95% of the time, and I mean completely blinded. There’s terrain destruction making me fall in pits that I cannot see, Poison puddles for some added rng difficulty, and lets not forget the acid rain. Its genuinely one of the worst combat experiences I’ve ever had in a videogame
Personal achievement made just a moment ago. We hunted and killed Apophis. We had a lot of deaths but we kept sailing back and eventually we beat her through stubbornness. This took at least 4 hours cause we wanted to have as many people present as possible to get the max blessing and potential drops. All worth it in the end.
Watch out, a random bum will exclaim they are the BEST because they haven’t experienced anything better!
Real shit though, a mix of the heavy lag, insane weather being so annoying, water poisoning happening on sheer random and… puddle isn’t a part of the difficulty, it’s an annoyance at most.
“Ukhm well I was born missing 90% of my brain functions and haven’t ever played AO and am incapable of defeating a level 5 sailor, my build consists of toothpick, undershirt jacket, sailor boots and floral blossom, and I no hit soloed Apophis without any warding, you guys are just whiny morons with skill issue and should off yourselves!”
TL;DR: Generalized to “It didn’t happen to me, so it wouldn’t happen to you!”
Common in all areas where people are genuine idiots, be it technical areas like coding or as shown; the game itself.
This looks exactly like the ender dragon death
Anyone know if dragon slaying actually makes a substantial difference in fighting the dragons? I’m not sure if I should waste a bunch of resources for them.
I’ve been wondering this as well, the wiki doesn’t have a percentage amount yet either, has anyone asked vetex this before at all?
I believe it was like 25-30% but I’ll go see if I can find the numbers
(as in total boost, including the innate damage boost)
also disregard that number for now, the forum search is acting up and I can’t find the post I was looking for :<
He died several times and came back? What’s that, coordinates.
Coordinates?
yeah, He said he died and came back a few times, possibly looking for people. I assume that either he used coordinates or he went in a straight line until he reached the lord.
AO has cords?
