Paper and Ink Magic should be brought back in Arcane Odyssey

If you search it up, there is pretty much a goddess of paper in Greek mythology. I feel like this should be a good enough reason for Vetex to do something right for once. As for ink magic, I don’t have a good enough reason to bring it back, but it was lowkey fire. Plus, it would bring back the scribed effect. And if for some ungodly reason they don’t get added as lost magics, I will make sure to throw as big of a tantrum a straight man can without looking weird.

edit: I will literally recreate Hiroshima on the US if this goes unnoticed by big boy vetex

I’m not so sure about ink magic, but paper magic definitely has a reason to exist, with both its high speed and ability to inflict bleeding

From what I understand, glass is pretty average in terms of speed

It’s described as a wind that cuts stuff in its path, being wind, it should be fast, and it should also give bleed, cutting stuff

That’s more in the territory of lost magics

Paper’s biggest weakness would probably be either low damage and/or the worst clashing rates in the entire game, and slash could eliminate the latter problem

if paper keeps that speed, then it’ll have a tp reflex, since any magic with 1.3x speed or more gets a tp reflex (light, lightning, wind, and now plasma since it briefly got buffed to have 1.3x speed, but they reverted it and decided to let plasma keep the tp reflex)

Ink magic is extremely good looking, and it also makes sense, because ink is a substance excreted by squids, so it would fit the sea theme of AO.
Also, paper would probably be rebranded to papyrus magic, to make it more “organic”.

Only way I’d spend 20 dollars on AO (or waste another week to hecate hunting) is if paper is brought back
