- Actually, the cant steer bug isnt really bug. It just your character dont touching the steering wheel. Happen a lot to me. Just jump back out and it fixed. I think this one dont need any focus.
- On another note, I agree, this game need fixing on its performance. Like I prefer to see buildings from afar, or even ship as I love Clear Sight Brew, but come on man. It dont mean they need to be rendered fully. I mean there must be a way to do this without screwing everyone
Nope, there’s no hope, it’s been a whole 4 days since the novel concept of “fix the problems with the game” was turned into some grandstanding petition, and not one of the developers deigned to let us know that they are working on fixing the problems with the game! Arcane Odyssey is doomed, you should delete your characters in an act of rebellion and defiance against the unthinking, uncaring d*vs.
I’m all for listing problems with the game in an organized manner, there’s certainly problems, but making a petition as if they haven’t been working on fixing issues after the update since the update was launched and as if they won’t do so otherwise is just silly.
It is a bug.
A bug, by definition, is unintended functionality.
Not being able to steer your ship after you clearly took command is unintended functionality.
Your character could not even exist and the ship would still function, as the player’s animations are just relayed by the player controlling the ship, not the player’s animations controlling the ship.
Knowing how Roblox works, it could easily be a variable accidentally getting set to nil for no reason at all, which then messes up the rest of the function
Are we talking bout different thing? Cuz yes its bug but its more of inconvenient than important thing to focus.
Ik how steer function work, and yes im surprise it can even happen in the first place, but since that can even happen when your character somehow sink into the floor and face upward, ya.
Tbh the fact it even happen is the one we need to worry rather than the bug itself. How? Im not dev but I used to play with script in game so I kind of have knowledge for wheel steering and I agree with you, but as I said, its minot incovenience
It’s a minor inconvenience that never occurred BEFORE Full Release.
It’s the fact that it snook it way into Full Release and hasn’t been fixed in the many patches we’ve had.
P.S. The bug is a bit more than a minor inconvenience in my case, I’ve crashed into things because I had to jump off the steering wheel and then get on again

Pressing F9 ingame to open the Developer Console shows many warnings and many red errors in scripts that pass greatly above 3000 lines.
It’s.. not a good look.

Unless you’re at the bare minimum a tester for the game your voice is mute
I’ve seen both my friends, and I experience this on a way greater frequency.

I think it’s plausible that it happens more frequently post FR though, as there’ve been a couple ship bugs that became more noticeable after the ship model changes
I have additionally noticed a bug (Well.. I don’t know if its a bug, since it’s technically intended behaviour, just the config raised too high) whilst I was fishing, the hitbox for the You cannot board this ship due to the sail’s winds is far too big, I can be standing on the docks and a ship come marginally close and I get flung due to the prevention.
And another one whilst I was fishing on my boat in the ocean, I fell through the hull several times in the same hour, it’s so strange.
Can someone make this a suggestion? Maybe after breaking a pillar, Elius won’t teleport to it anymore; after breaking all pillars, Elius will either lose the ability to teleport dash or only be able to teleport to the center of the arena

The “grab the chests” command doesn’t work (but apparently but was fixed ?) Also skyhalls noble families armor sets are bugged . The belt part on the torso for the chest piece is not there, and every time you unequipped both of them it leaves a big gap between ur torso and legs. Idk if it applies to all but what seeing on my end is funny
