I only named the fire starter char-broil then turned the setting off entirely
i usually just stick with the official names, probably cause i can never finish the game and always reset

perf is there anything you have tried that you don’t hate or think sucks in every way possible and all the good cool things don’t matter to you?
- the base is cool and its a good step forward
- the game runs… okayish for me, terribly for perf’s switch
- it looks awful. yeah, i get that this is a switch, but we’ve seen miles better than this even on the wii
- the multiplayer is cool… but its also pointless outside of raids. however, its one of these incredibly rare games on switch where being with a friend barely limits you compared to being alone. compare that to animal crossing and being unable to change anything at all in your town/island
as usual, 90% of the fun is giving my pokemons dumb names, so i’m happy regardless, but this game is just not finished. im still having a good amount of fun on it, but its shocking they didnt notice obvious things like your phone literally not following your hand in camera mode, so you are just holding nothing in your hand and moving it around with a floating phone in front of you. like i found that 15 seconds after starting a session
its a really interesting base tho and i hope they add quality of life stuff with updates. right now, i think by far the main problem that can realistically be fixed in an updateis how slow it is. starting and finishing a battle have a dozen seconds where its just a blank stare with nothing happening, switching pokemons (which you kinda need to all the time for auto battles) takes a good 20 seconds and thats if you optimise your inputs as much as possible while you only had to press a single button in arceus, those terrasomething cutscenes are stupidly long and unskippable
