Again, as I said; Roblox needs some fuckin’ anti-overload measures. This is plain stupid to have happened so suddenly after the event released. They’re a multi-billion dollar company, surely they could’ve afforded something to slow the collapse of the platform from a burrito!

Literally almost every sponsored event is breaking records and tbf anyone would want a free burrito. Was also during peak hours.
I don’t remember any roblox event that gave that many people a chance to get something real.
Also would need to hijack way too many accounts or make a huge innovation to bypass captcha to make people not play a lego game for 2 days (wouldn’t be a problem if only site was ddosed but every api and data stores broke as well)

Also they could’ve broke everything by directly getting roblox server’s IP address but it wouldn’t make sense for them to bot burrito game if they can directly DDos
14 mil still a huge jump though getting something real is notable
they’ve made making bots harder sure but plenty of old ones are still up and around in addition to hijacked accounts
a huge chunk of my botted followers still aren’t banned
either way we don’t really know for certain yet

Once people realised this, many accounts were created.
IIRC, 15K accounts were made in a single minute. Obviously the servers could not handle a large influx.
A good lot of factors led to the crash.

Its already confirmed that its not chipotle so, and im 99.9% sure that the chipotle event did not get 14 mil players because what the fuck
also adopt me only got like 1.4 mil, they got 1.9 mil before and that didn’t crash the servers
