Problems from older games still persist in Arcane Odyssey

While I do believe that there should be some protection in place when it comes down to pvp against lower and higher levels, the best thing that you can do in this case is to server hop.

The NPC’s aren’t too bad to fight, and I sure as heck wouldn’t say that they have perfect accuracy. If that’s what it seems like, then you’re probably just running around in a single direction without even trying to dodge them. And when it comes down to trying to hit them, it’s not even that hard either. If they manage to dodge your attacks, go ahead and attack them again - it’ll likely hit.

Multiple people already pointed this out, but you can disable screenshake.

I can see a bit of your perspective over here, but I’m not sure if npc’s recharging their power is very necessary, considering that there’s a window of opportunity to attack them after they’ve finished their move. Sure, you also need to recharge, but an easy solution to that is simply distancing yourself from your enemy.

I do somewhat agree with you a bit in this case. Terrain can be used to cheese enemies such as wanted criminals. However, that’s not often the case for bosses. (That’d probably only apply to Iris, and sometimes Argos)

I understand your trouble when it comes down to combat. Just do your best and try to adjust to the situation at hand.

(Whew, this was a big one.)

how tf did you survive arcane adventures if you are this ass at arcane odyssey

level 125 for a level 50 boss is skill issue the only 2 bosses ull have trouble with is elius and calvus the rest is easy to solo

FR

if u dont move it dont go away

the A.I. in this game is predictive based on your moving direction. if you stand still then dash, you’ll dodge a great deal of attacks. if you keep running in one direction, they will adjust their aiming so they hit you

learn to parry, learn how to punish. boss attacks require decent reaction time, but only have a set amount of attacks. parrying reduces damage by 90%.

screenshake can be toggled.

the only valid complaint imo is getting stuck under the ground during a fight as the ground is regenerating, and sometimes there’s a weird bug where you ragdoll until you use a skill

leaving the game and there is literally a blue hue on your body when you spawn

you can turn that off in settings

Totally not me with Elius

@ThatOneGuy

I will admit though I find it ridiculous how it’s completely fine that things like pirates and navy and ravenna soldiers can just chase your boat across the bronze sea endlessly and not lose any stamina

about the boss thing though I have no idea why you’re upset pretty much all of them (except elius and to an extent calvus) are easy to beat lol

also I solo’d elius last night I defeated him all by myself I am so proud

There are times where I’ve lost them but i think it was because there was another box boat attacking them.

still horrendously unnatural looking and annoying

A question, did you perhaps send 1 galleon to the one killing you and then that player gave it back?

ONG LMAO

There is

Highly exaggerated. If your complaining about not being able to kill npcs, your a skill issue, im sorry (Kai and Merlot are the only exception). I’m a 5 star and fight a lot of powerful navy npcs, and rarely do I die (Im assuming your talking about npcs).

If your on about bosses then get better

@biggerfarm when you say you need to cheese bosses to beat them, are you referring to specific bosses or just all bosses in general?

(Things like elius, kai, and merlot are all reasonable in the fact that you have to cheese them a little at lower levels, kai and merlot are over double max level and elius is… well… elius)

Only an issue for me if I fight them on my ship because I have way less space to dash around. Otherwise I can fight them when below their level just fine.

His name should be Ezius because he’s so free
