Server hopping to grind for these is so boring, please PLEASE make the cacti that produce them grow somewhere else as well.
@redcteron I don’t mind when professions take a while but right now there’s not much depth to it. It’d be cool if you could use an ingredient similar to Samerian Ice in cooking to make baits for fishing instead of just getting a select few from the levels, maybe using them could boost how much XP you get.
They all suck since they turned every activity into a worse version of what jewelcrafting was before (a necessary skill to level up as to even be remotely viable in PVP), plus they don’t even feel like professions in the first place as they aren’t careers that your character can partake in, but a skillset required to put it against other players.
Cooking is the one that suffers the least from this as its only purpose is to prevent starvation (vetex, why are you addicted to adding game mechanics that don’t fit with your game’s genre?) which can easily be achieved at any of its level, while brewing, jewelcrafting, treasure hunting and fishing all give important stat-sticks compared to bounty hunting that only provides tools to make it faster (it’s a game-changer for bounty hunting, which is to be expected).
