for example say I can’t beat radhan from elden ring, so I ask my friend to help me (multiplayer is a thing) but he can’t because he plays on playstation and I play on PC. So now I’m “forced” to buy a second copy to play with him. is them not adding cross platform compatibility “predatory”?

I call bullshit on the basis that there are no meaningful restrictions on swapping around the other 75% of classes.
If meta swapping is such a problem for magic, why can every other class do it?
thats doesn’t actually affect it in a broader sense of the term,
your magic affects interactions but it doesn’t really give you an advantage(eventually when they are all balanced) and it’s not like your gameplay is changed by having fire instead of wind. Will I do more dmg and have burn? yes, but i’m still playing magic and I have blast beam and cannon

example: pvp toggle, 80% of the community are happy with the change, the rest are not. you cant please evceryone no matter what you do
