Vetex said that there was no reason to wipe everyone’s data, and that includes levels. So no that’s not happening. Plus even if it did literally 90% of users would just get angry and stop playing
We barely are in the game at all. Level 90 isnt that much. Not to mention the game will have a whole new experience, playing a new character wouldnt be like grinding the same game it is going to be a lot different.
If data did wipe by any reason, which I’m pretty sure it isnt anyways, people would just experience the story without entering as overleved for half of the games entry content.
So what you’re saying is that there is way more content on the way and we will have a d ifferent experience?
And cultural but cultural weps are gonna be the same as old.

I DID read on a FANDOM article that levels will go at least to 1000.
Considering it takes around an hour to get to level 100 (likely) rounding everything up expect speedrunners to get to level 1000 in 12 or 13 hours
Here this is to clear your question up because I can see people are not being super helpful, your items and gear will not be reset, the chance of vetex deciding to reset your levels is like 3%, Boss items are getting changed so they will just be different items in your inventory, and cultural weapons will probably also be converted to something else, also, even if ur level 90 you will still spawn where you are at in the story. The rest of your data SHOULDNT be reset, if it does then Thats a major bug and you probably can’t get your stuff back, but don’t blame vetex for that if that happens because it shouldn’t happen, I think you should have a little more trust as he has been coding for a long time and things like this can be fixed, Also the FPS and ping will have a large improvement in the update, I recommend you do get an FPS unlocker so you don’t get capped at 60 FPS.
It wouldnt be hard to get max lvl rn in under an hour and IF they do stuff like exp boosts it could be possible to get lvl 1000 in an hour if your good enough
If your base magic is fire i can suggest for your second magic to be Magma, Plasma, or Ash

saint rep isn’t even that hard to get, its demon and Legendary Hero that’s hard to get, and especially so because you have to get your name in the news

Vetex is not going to wipe your levels or inventory. That will stay the same.
Vetex WILL get rid of cultural items, your reputation, your boss drops, and your storyline progress.
Reason being is because AO is essentially a new game. Cultures are no longer something that a player can partake in, so there is no need for cultural items. An alternative called island specific weapons have taken their place and anyone can buy them.
Your reputation has been reset because logically speaking you have done nothing in the new game to be known as a “demon” or “legendary hero”. Which leads me into my next point:
Story is being reset as well because the storyline for WoM is no more. The game is technically still canon but the time period of AO takes place WAAAY before the events of WOM. AO will have a different story. Because of this the minotaur and the exiled will be removed and their boss drops will be compensated.
Yes You will learn a second magic. Vetex is going to raise the cap to level 100 and add second magic there along with the entirety of the southern sea.
I honestly think Vetex should raise the level caps higher, to like 110. If I’m being impatient, I apologize. I just personally think in my opinion that it shouldn’t always be raised only by 10.
Vetex is keeping it like that because there isn’t enough content to justify going beyond level 100. Once the game gets its feet off the ground he will start raising it higher than just 10.
