Nah, there is just something about the way it is casted and the kind of ash trial + the rings and size (which prob isn’t a part of the base magic) which makes it feel that way
Fair magma does look like ash + fire but still looks badass
Its deffo smooth but also is literally just green water and still feels less badass than sending a massive chunk of burning, liquid mass than acid and feels much more unstoppable

i like how vetex said he didnt want to have triple A effects for the magics since its not his focus but he quite literally did that.
