Rate my powder fist poison warlock build!

Been experimenting with this file for what feels like eons and of all the dozens of builds I have tried this is by far the most enjoyable and effective I’ve worked out. Let me know what you guys think. The gems aren’t quite finished, I intend to go max potency eventually when I get enough reagents.

Ooo very cool! What’s the playstyle for this build? Do you rely on poison’s DoT and stall fights out?

With the low defense it’s pretty hard to do that but I try to do it anyway a little bit. I stall fights out a little bit just trying to parry stuff while applying pressure when my opponent is being slow, like charging up some big attack. That or choke them out in a poison cloud if they get stuck up against anything. Regeneration without a spirit build is unfortunately kinda weak but when vampirism is eventually in the game that should change for me. Thankfully the regen does allow me to win most trades. Wish I could swap out the defense for resistance though.

90% sure that the regeneration rework choked out the vampire fighting style concept :sob:

I mean it makes it not as unique but having a fighting style that innately has “regeneration” (FFS just rename the stat to lifesteal already) is a solid mechanic. Could also provide actual health regen in small amounts since vampires are known to heal quickly.

Another flat 10% regen per hit

Likely to be more than that or some kind of unique healing mechanic stronger than typical regeneration. No good in assuming the worst of something that doesn’t exist. Regardless we can be certain that end game vampirism juggernauts are going to be nearly immortal.

Assuming someone on the bteam doesn’t mysteriously gain raging hate for regen and gets it gutted

What am I even looking at brah

A powder fist poison warlock build, you blind or somethin’?

Taco bell fart warlock is insane

Drop the size amulet for an atlantean defense amulet; poison powder fist is big enough as is.
also, get your gems in order. If it’s going to be potency and blocking, just do potency and blocking.

I used a frozen defense amulet at one point and found that increasing my own health pool didn’t help nearly as much as the significant boost to size from the size amulet. My regen is worthless if I can’t consistently land attacks.

I mean I’ve tried every fighting style with poison magic as a warlock and powder fist is the only one that actually feels remotely viable so I dunno. Iron is sort of good if you want to always attack at very very close range. Vanishing style’s critical charge time is inconsistent and tends to just get you killed but is otherwise good especially with some of the poison magic gear’s pierce stats on top of it. Unfortunately the poison imbue visuals make the invisibility completely pointless.

I remember a long time ago I ran poison/sailor warlock and it was fairly alright

With that build you will die in at max 3 seconds. That, however, considering you have a usual playstyle for your class. Even still you have a special playstyle I doubt it will be tinier good than an average power/ def build.

I’ve lasted against meta builds for like a minute straight with this build in some fights. At the end of the day it definitely doesn’t beat the awful meta of this game’s PVP but it’s still fun. I’ve had extremely close fights though. Also I’ve done meta builds with high defense and power for this slot and it’s no better honestly. Poison is such an incredibly bad imbue that this is the only thing that sort of made sense and worked well for me.

can you show the vfx

No, I’m using powder fist now. But when you’re invisible the fist imbue effects of poison magic just remain 100% visible.

Well, I’m glad you had fun, thats what that matters after all. Unfortunately, there will be always metas.
