I never even talked about your suggestion, I was saying that a “sword magic” would just be metal/wood with a shape option

but yeah if it spawns pillars randomly it would be kinda like that
though over a slightly smaller area (imagine mabey 1/4 of munera garden arena was what I am thinking for spread)
Would be even cooler with shapes, like swords randomly falling from the sky.
But its looks more like boss attack, its useless for players, cuz easy to punish and not really effective.
i could imagine catching a few players out with thins because after all
how can you dodge something that the other player has no idea where it is going (also could give slightly more attack speed since it is well… random and no idea where it goes)
Small damage + stunning you in the place where you are staying.
People will just spam blasts at you and deal more damage than all your pillars together.
true, but it is still more customisation
one thing i also hate is how alot of magics blast just uhh dont fly straight and spiral out
