Rell seas vs ao

Now that I think about it, the game didnt have this much bugs on every update when it was just Vetex being the only one to code the game

It’s a double-edged sword to have gotten moochezz and partcline ig, we can have faster development at the cost of there being more bugs

That is due to the fact he knew what everything did, even if it was undocumented.
You can’t guess what a developer did when writing a script, therefore unintended behaviour when adding/changing content will happen.

sigh
I give up.

Plus we haven’t even talked about devs leaving and soon we’ll be back to updates like port mistral.

I’ll be honest I wouldn’t take Vetex out of the equation. This update clearly shouldn’t have taken a year. I’m assuming Vetex spent more time pondering about the story.

Full release should have been an update that fixed jank and other issues while solving spirit. However as some people said it’s essentially only 15 mins of story content.

Him not doing that his entirely his fault and I would never blame the existence of other Devs especially cuz he came up to us and told us how his code is perfect and how that’s the reason Galaga was able to add skills easily which literally is telling us that his code is versatile and easy to add to in the first place.

That’s spells.
If that wasn’t modular, the game would’ve ended many months ago.

And… not to shit on Vetex too much, but there’s nothing as perfect code.

I do personaly greatly dislike Rell Seas’ combat, i think its so unnecesary having a combat oriented on the parry, with a such souls-like limited mobility, on a game that its main attraction is the nuclear bomb abilities named as devil fruits. Tho i really love the ship making of that game.

to rell seas defense and to my knowledge fruits will not be so easily accesible point like they would be really rare to get so more of haki, sword combat

Because parry-based combat is both more popular and easier to maintain

I see, but thats both good and bad things, it will make the average playerbase’s combat scenario to feel equal, however, it will make a huge gap and unbalancement between the average and the fruit owners. Not to mention bosses, giving a huge advantage to whose haves a fruit, and most likely, i can expect the game having gamepasses to track said fruits.

rell seas will never release lol

For me personally FR has hurted more then it done good.

Skyhall is beautiful, the story actively avoids most of it and returning to skyhall is tedious and doing so isn’t really awarding. Allahan Also a poor boss. Always flying, heals 30 health constantly, giant blinding attacks, near one shot grab, and his other moves can easily take half your health if not more

Chapter 9 was. Fine nothing special. You just raid fafnir nothing too interesting besides the ship. The boss room sucks and the fact vetex vetoed is beyond horrible.

Animals are cool but T jump and spam attacks you win and are more glitchy then anything with how their ai is.

roaming bosses? What roaming bosses they won’t spawn 9/10 times

the other bosses are fine. The redwake chief is fine if not a little boring but that’s not bad. Jorund is literally carried by his brig with the boss being easier then bombs criminals. I love Ceaser but the lag makes him unbearable since his big attacks phase 3 basically kill uou cause the lag makes it reactable. Crystal guy is the definition of cheese me

Drip is cool the drip is good

Fleets are basically the afk sim you just gotta make sure doesn’t drop too low

Professions are fine but aren’t anything too special imo

I like talents are cool wish we had more

IDK man, I still think expecting core systems to be fixed before full release was a fair expectation. I mean it’s called “Full release”.

Vetex didn’t even need to release it anyways, game had players and he could have taken his time fixing all the obvious errors.

It’s just very irresponsible to like put a 1 year update and only allocate testing time for 1 day. Lokey should have been a week.

i don’t give a flying fuck
just keep pumping out games until i can stop playing as a whole

Two weeks at the very least, first week to test and fix the current content, then the second week to test the new content and fix, or the other way around.

Sure, It’s more reasonable.

it’s not good to comparethese games as if one should overthrow the other.

think of the “oh boy, two cakes!” meme

Yeah they’re really not. They’re both sea based and about pirates yes but there’s not too much overlap beside that. I get why though it’s like with deepwoken. People have two games they like or dislike. They wanna compare that’s just. People

Can someone actually tell me some of the original/unique concepts rell seas will have that I constantly hear people talk about? Cause so far nearly everything I’ve seen from the game are things I’ve already seen in other Roblox games.

Not necessarily saying that a game can’t be inspired by other game’s systems, but if it’s being marketed as a never-before-seen direction on Roblox I feel like there should at least be a few things that are actually never before seen.

Personally I haven’t seen marketed as a never before seen game before. I’ve seen it marketed as a well made none linear experience
