yes
yes
comically large ketch
âHey can i get some sealed chests?â
âOnly a ketchfulâ
Nah i be usin rowboats like mihawk
Iâm going to use a caravel probably because it seems like it possibly could be the best in terms of getting around effectively
Ketch is bigger and faster so idk why you wouldnât use it
how do you know its faster
Thatâs just my guess that the common boats that vetex is adding now are linear upgrades so it would mean the ketch is faster as well with overall better stats
I mean like going rowboat->sailboat->caravel->ketch->frigate
Like frigate will be objectively better than ketch and ketch objectively better than caravel etc.
I assume larger boats will be slower. Players that arenât interested in ship combat and donât need to haul a lot of cargo probably would prefer a smaller, faster boat.
still seems weird imo, since every boat has a distinct use (irl i mean), itâs not like thereâs a boat thatâs just the best at everything
Tbf, we donât use stuff like ketches anymore the terminology hasnât even survived in modern day navyâs but stuff like frigates still exist in modern naval terminology
I think it would be reasonable to say that the frigate will be the fastest and biggest ship on release just because we havenât seen much alteration and currently the caravel is the biggest and fastest so weâll see if ketch is bigger and faster as well
Mihawk didnât have a row boat his ship was wind powered
Wasnât the sailboat the fastest in AA?
This isnât about realism itâs about game balance
I mean, in AR, itâs somewhat of a tie between the sailboat and the rowboat, essentially lag determines the faster of the two
And, weâre all forgetting that turning speed is another stat that bigger ships will almost certainly lose in
In the to-do list, it outright states that the Ketch is bigger, faster, and has more equip slots than the Caravel.
Oh I missed that thanks
Well the caravel may have more health than the ketch since itâs wider, and the ketch is almost as thin like the sailboat but longer but idk
