Reminders for AO (Part 2)

I wonder if this means that people with fighting styles will be able to easily swap between them. Resetting skills ain’t even a price to pay, that’s just a convenience if anything. 200 galleons also isn’t a whole lot.

I know Vetex wants people with magic be unable to change magics so that not everyone goes around running whatever’s meta but I hope for some kind of countermeasure to ensure that no one goes and swaps their fighting style to something else because it’s meta. Maybe he can implement a system where the cost is raised by 10% after buying a new fighting style and is brought down by 30% up until the base value once a new update drops or after a certain amount of time. Just an idea but still I don’t wanna see everyone running Crane Style because it’s slightly better than the rest and that’s it. Like Magic I don’t think fighting styles should be easily changeable.

because there’s shit like the cernunno boss video that isn’t on the trello

I mean earliest you can get it is level 15 so no wonder it’s cheap

yeah not surprised by that considering fighting styles are basically physical magic. It wouldn’t make sense to get the first one at like level 100 when it’s probably just going to be on par with magic.

Its my birthday today guys

And @CrimsonCreate the problem isnt the discussions being held about patchnotes but that “30%” that is off topic. And lets be real crimson, its more like 50%. Just like this comment, your comments and the comment you guys responded to are all off-topic.

And 2 hours later maple posts this which literally nobody cares about and has nothing to do with trello patchnotes

The guy who originally made this topic also requested to not flood reminders for ao with off topic stuff and currently the exact opposite is happening. On some days a 100 out of 150 new comments in this topic are off-topic or about some stupid argument that could be held elsewhere (like this one actually lmao).

Anyways thats just my opinion

:cold_sweat:
also v1.9.174 was moved to a new recent card

Can’t wait for v1.9.200

You thought it was v1.9.200
BUT IT IS I, v1.9.1000!!!

Wait that makes no sense

I had 3 :fr: in one of them Cyro was a fucking snowman killing Morden and me with snowballs

I see your reasoning, and I totally get it, but I do like how fighting styles seem to be easily changeable cause there isn’t many option for fighting styles to use, on release there’s only 4(unless you want to use basic combat) fighting styles so it should be at least relatively easy

man, this was basically the changelog channel back when it was tl3 only hehe.

I get that, but as progression goes on and much later game when upgrading your fighting styles (the equivalent to ancient magics) It will most likely become much less interchangeable unless you wanna grind or put in a lot of work. Early game yeah it might be a bit strange to see people changing their fighting style a ton but I mean think about it; it sorta fits into the narrative of fighting styles much better than switching does to magic.

Resetting skills might mean more once you have lost skills that would disappear, but i still think it can be changed too easily

They’re literally meant to be equal otherwise fighting styles would just be a poor choice. Fighting styles will have equivalents to lost and ancient magic in lost styles and upgrading your base (and lost styles as well I think)
