this is interesting, i assume he means side quests, and presumably will help level the player. And maybe it seems like awakenings wont be at exactly level 120, judging by the fact that he mentioned quests after the bronze sea story

Maybe 93 is when you’re able to get to all 3 towns? By the looks of the story you should get sent to the mines after defeating carina
