No it didn’t, it only got disabled while using weapons(including shield)

They have skills so yeah.
shields go in weapon slots and have skills so yes
i think this was added because testers were complaining that non-weapon builds got a free shield but it took up a weapon slot for weapon builds
okay, that sucks. weapons have it better.
Hopefully the Magic Barrier spell will be on release, and maybe fighting style blocking can scale with strength or improve after awakening.
Hopefully, those are the best hopes we have for this he other classes.

only at 250 total stats, mages end up with more at later levels
Ultimate art and shape option + higher tier magic and higher tier lost spells when those are added
