I’m not pressed or anything, but I’m pointing out the obvious truth that if you ask for an opinion, it may be negative. He said his opinion about you, if you want a nice opinion:
A) This isn’t really helping &
B) It wouldn’t be an opinion at that point because…it isn’t his opinion.
