I’m 99% sure something will be added on Sameria’s western coast later on in the story. If you look at that area, it just sticks out. The shoreline all around consists of small hills and bumps, only there, it’s completely flat. It also lacks sand dunes that are abundant in the rest of the Scorching Dunes, but then abruptly stop.
