its no so much the issue of hybrid features (sorta is, but other reason is far more impactful), but rather is that weapon benefits the most from whole hybrid thing.
@fartman1314 made a good diagrma of my head-canon thing called Imbue-Hierarchy.
Anything can be imbued onto what is below or on same ‘step’
And weapons is ultimate reciever, while magic and spirit are ultimate donors.
And so if we split 4 stats in half, we can see that strength and weapons should be prioritized due to them simply having more imbues capabilities. Especially on 2nd awakeinng.
Think about all they hybrids.
You mostly focus on putting points into thing that is GETTING IMBUED.
Warlord, Warlock, Conj, (For now we dont count vit classess), you have no reason to invest into donor route unless you want to try niche strength-lord, mage-lock and ma-jurer / mage-urer.
That’s why i personaly think that warlord with spirit weapons will be the play.
Free imbues with no stats decrease or increase. Just focus on weapons and get on 2nd most imbued route.
Sure, addition of arcanium, weapon-spirit weapons or arcanium-strength weapons WILL shift the savant planing. But i do wonder - WIll it all be worth it tho? Doing something average-savant or warlock with weapons/spirit weapons.

going for a Vit/Magic Savant just makes you a worse Paladin with mediocre weapon/fstyle skills.
The imbuement from magic and spirit is already enough to constitute not using Arcanium, and I’m decently sure i’ve seen Vetex say Arcanium cant be imbued by another magic. Meaning the only thing we’re left with is the Spirit-Mage/Strength/Weapon hybrids, but those too might not be imbue-able; unless arcanium can be imbued by magic, and Weapon-Spirit can be hit by Magic.
We dont even know if the aforementioned (arcanium & Weapon-Spirit) can be imbued by strength, so in all reality, at least for full release, Spirit/Magic-Warlord is probably the best play, and if you want a seperate imbue for strength and then the weapon, Spirit-Warlord will likely take a grip on the meta
I mean, what hybrid stuff are planned?
- Arcanium Strength Weapons (savant)
- Weapon-Spirit_Weapon stuff (knight)
- Arcanium Weapons (conjurer)
- Cestus stuff (will be really bad on savant, but available for all str routes)
Do we even know if Knight is getting exclusives? What would Knight exclusive gear even bring that spirit weapons dont technically already serve, that can also be added to weapons without imbuing them?
Like Arcanium and Cestus serve a purpose because Magic/Strength builds dont have tools in those slots, but Oracle uses tools (even though they use different slots) so like what are they gonna be doing with those items?
On-top of that, we have 0 knowledge on wether or not Spirit will be able to give exclusives.

i looked at the mutation charts and the level cap is going up but not to level 300 i really wanted to try out lost magics as savant when the level cap does go up to 300 i hope that there is special lost magic scroll if is it that i might try them out when the level does go up 300

i already heard that all i want is to know if lost magic will come at 300 and special scrolls since the level is going up but not level 300 i just wanted to know that if savants could use these lost magics it is so unfair to me i don’t want it to just mage its so annoying to me
what I mean by lost magic scrolls mages are good but there is so much stuff that I combine since i changed my main file to savant is so epic using magic on any weapon and those magics as well i just want it to be that way

really hope that vetex does make special scrolls so any hybrid magic user can use the lost magics savants are just great and without these lost magic scrolls I might use these in the future updates
