Silly vetex thinks that he can create his game how he wants it to be

one that works, firstly. seismic slash doesnt work in the most common situation, ei being on your ship
secondly, something thats consistent. colossal cleave only does good damage at a very specific and easily avoidable point.

I know what you’re talking about and I saw a fix in the trello a few months ago, haven’t tried it yet though

I do think what matters the most is the weapon itself, its stats and what skills are being used on it, like you can use multiple skills not only colossal cleave or seismic slash, you can even replace those

literally just tested it. it still doesnt work
even still, its inconsistent as hell. like compare it to devastate: both force you to the ground, but one does damage in a large area while another forces you to hit a few medium-sized at best rocks that do maybe more damage if all of them connect… in their short range.

and colossal cleave had the EASIEST formula for a move. just make it a piercing vertical flying slash and thats it! but they put a sweetspot on it! and now its only good against npcs who have abusable pathing!!!

that would just be way better, maybe a longer windup so it’s not an actual direct upgrade or something

the community aren’t the ones who made the story or all the details in the game, if you want to quit playing then by all means go ahead, I will keep working on the game regardless

there are like, 5 major bugs right now at most

i have not made any custom magics besides my own a year ago

working on this game is literally all i do in my time besides working out, eating, sleeping, and rarely playing a game, to the point my social life is destroyed and this is all I’ve done for years. Don’t speak on game development if you have no idea how it works or how long it takes kid
