Since vetex is adding a wilderness to the nimbussy... what if there were other magic animals like poison jaws?

This is a bump but I am genuinely curious. Magic imbued giant freshwater salamanders could be cool.

RETRIBUTION???!!

I canā€™t believe you of all people said thisšŸ˜

Well I mean hey man itā€™d help prevent being kicked in the balls yā€™know

Block, parry, dodge nerd.

If youā€™re suggesting I parry or block with anything in that region, you clearly havenā€™t been hit with a nearly full-speed dodgeball there.

I havenā€™t.

Because I blocked, parried, and dodged.

as a person who regularly plays with people who throw max strength dodgeballs at 6th graders while being 2 years older than them, I can confirm blocking, parrying, and dodging are ineffective against avoiding or reducing the brunt of a full speed dodgeball to the crotch.

I say the following not out of misogyny, but instead out of extreme prejudice fueled by questionable ā€œfactā€:

You are unpracticed in the field of crotch protection by nature. The issue is, women have a 1.25 crit damage multiplier when receiving blunt damage to that region, compared to a male characterā€™s 1.5 damage multiplier.

Simply put, men are more hysterically desperate to avoid critical impacts due to the flaw in our character build. Thus, we practice more circumstantial blocks, parries, and dodges out of fear of taking massive damage.

Thus, TheFightingLady, I must call into question your expertise on the subject of crotch protection. As your character build type has never had to worry about this kind of impact to the same degree.

Iā€™m trans (Male to Female).

I sadly do in fact know.

Ah, I apologize for my presumption.

How does it feel running the build with the most critical hit regions?

simply put,

YOUCH

You have my sympathies. I wish you well in your fighting and lady-ing.

Actually itā€™s a bit closer to 1.35, and has a random chance to possibly be worse if the impact radiates through the body someā€¦
I asked this question years ago, and I got the answer.

In my original draft for the reply I did in fact have the number be 1.35 because I had the feeling it hurt a bit more than just a bit. However, I lowered it for the sake of the joke.

idk maybe they could add hunting n stuff

for example, deer and other forest animals could spawn in forests, when killed they drop meat or something, there could be magic versions which drop things like arcanium antlers

heheā€¦ Cataclysm imbued chickenā€¦

What the fuck is this comparison :sob: weā€™re not minmaxxing crotch damage like a bloody Elden Ring dagger build :skull:

I mean, if I could minmax it, I meanā€¦
I fuckinā€™ would. Iā€™d maximize how minimal it is, but still, minmaxxing.

You canā€™t minmaxx it without compromising mobility

With utmost honesty, I believe that itā€™s best to avoid getting hit in the first place. But there are still a few things that need to be said

Letā€™s say youā€™re in a fight and someone is aiming to execute the forbidden Outside Axe Kick on your crotch (yeowch), if youā€™re 1m80 - 5ā€™10 like me, most of the force behind the kick is lost by the time it reach your crotch anyway. Speaking from real experience btw.

Therefore, Iā€™d like to suggest that we refer to height as % crotch damage reduction.

%Crotch damage reduction: also known as height. A non minmaxxable stat, unique to each person, with midgets having negative % so they take increased damage while also receiving more damage from kicks in general

while this in theory is sound, we have to remember that crotch punches and dropkicks exist, meaning that only kick damage is reduced.
