It’s kinda hard to do that when you don’t play anything but AO ![]()
But i haven’t seen anything that bothers me a lot (except the attack speed being split in two, which might not be a bad thing depending on how its implemented)

I like the mystery of not knowing our backstory, it gives way for a lot of theorizing and explanation later on. We don’t really know our objective until later into the story (When we visit the sky islands), and even so, the backstory is still being hidden (partially, we may have some sort of flashbacks) that we could piece together.
I see it as an absolute good; people who like one aspect of attack speed can get just the part they like, and people who like both can still just get both stats like any other stat, and we don’t have to deal with having agility or accuracy.
oh yeah it mildly annoys me because of my mage build, that’s it. I’ll figure a way to make it work though.
However, i am willing to sacrifice two in one for no agility users.
That reminds me, one of the big things is that bosses are hard.
Back when I started the game, I didn’t really realize that I was supposed to be putting in skill. I just threw everything I had at the bosses and waited for someone to come help me with the hard ones.
Turns out, you can beat a boss better by actually watching what they do and waiting for the right moments to use the right tricks.
I haven’t ever heard of a game conveying that you need to just “get good” in order to beat it, but it might be some kind of subconscious thing that I don’t even realize.
If AO can instill a “get good” mentality by the time of King Calvus’ fight, then people might realize that they just need to watch closely and find out what moment is the right one.
Maybe giving an earlier boss like Iris very visible and obvious attack windows and heavy punishments for ignoring them would do the trick.
I had a similar thought when Silksong dropped. I realised that I actually was going to play THE silksong soon. It feels kinda surreal since I have been waiting for this update specifically since like, what, 2023? It’s crazy that it’s finally happening, I guess this is what prisoners feel like awaiting the end of their sentence
GTA 6 and Half Life 3 will be announced and mfs will mentally be like “yeah, it’s never coming” even if they know it is
yeah, I agree there, also on top of that give her more health/dmg (x1.33 more health than the previous boss Shura but the next boss Elius has x3 health) by buffing Iris a little bit along with the clear warnings, you can teach new players how to actually avoid stuff while lessening the difficulty spike which is not even all that far awy
hhhwojmmfggh
Indeed, it doesn’t feel real at all. All this time I’ve only had ephemeral dreams of Full Release dropping but when it’ll actually drop i might explode Like holy shit its coming? It exists? Its gonna be real? what rhe Fuckkщ(゜ロ゜щ)щ(゜ロ゜щ)щ(゜ロ゜щ)
Ngl I think Vetex should delay it and release it on AO’s anniversaryJoking of course but part 2 with what couldn’t be finished releasing at this time would be nice. ![]()
my idea for a tutorial would be the order facility escape sequence where your taught about combat and movement, stuff like fishing and cooking should be taught at towns imo.
and at the end of my escape from the order facility tutorial idea there should be a scripted “loss” boss fight but if you beat it you get a item that gives 10 power and 50 defense but it cant get upgraded (have enchants or gems)
yo actual;ly this is lowk fucking genius ![]()

I can’t really be bothered with full release because I know it’ll just be more grinding, like the story is cool and all and I love exploration but deep down I know I’m just going to be grinding for spell scrolls and the whole “waiting for a year” thing just made me lose any type of excitement. It’s just kind of like small talk to me now.
SCRS stealth music is peak
No, black dusk and the SCRS’s loud music as well as the lakehouse is genuinely peak. I haven’t played it in so long, I’m more of a stealth guy but the only reason I’d play loud is for the soundtrack.
here, I made an Entry Point thread cus we love Entry Point
To add to cheems idea I think using the Jaw Pirates as close as they are would be a great way to create a chapter 0 escape quest. A Jaw Pirates base on Dawn Island(unless it has some other lore relevance I don’t know about) while escaping with a dying Tucker, Morden and the player would add to Morden. I think that would be more realistic to trust Morden more after a situation like escaping for your lives then I have no memories but you seem to know me so I’ll listen to you.
icy you’re a freaking mod you already play it
No I’m a mod not a tester separate roles u can be both but I’m not
what a scam ![]()
