Literally, worst possible choice for an element unless it has equinox imbuement, but since it really is directly ripped from Shadow, it might.

no⌠a nyx spirit energy and light magic wouldnât create an equinox reaction. considering its not actually shadow magic it will not interact like it.
I feel like the staff shouldâve at least come with a dmg synergy with shadow.

similarly to shadow the staff of night is kinda held up on its own, rather than synergizing it has a skill that doubly blinds and slows enemies down.

Well I feel like itâs more like a magical light-sucking thing coming in contact with a magical light-emitting thing and causing a reaction.
again spirit energy is distinct from magic energy. A spirit energy (lets say Hephaestus) that makes you very hot would obviously synergize with a heat magic. that does not mean it is literally the same as fire magic. the equinox reaction is specifically a magic reaction sorta like an anti matter reaction. Iâve been equinox magicâs biggest rider since before AO came out. I wish it were the case, but itâs not gonna happen :(.
