sometimes I feel like the fandom is more toxic and destructive than the forums dwag
I’ve once never seen a forumer react in a hostile way towards the arcane Odyssey fandom or towards others (reason why I say this is because of their reaction towards the forums)
Only thing why we are mainly hostile is if a user is being extremely unbearable and untolerable such as opticalcord past, dubioustyp0 art problems, danthegamer incident, stocksounds opinions, etc. Mainly being we HAVE a reason, just that it gets a lot more amplified by other past-actions if not yet cleared such as stocksounds opinions which caused hate, carrying over to this
out of all communities I visited, I deem vetcord a perfected place after arcane Odyssey fandom. I’ma be real, getting to level 25+ in vetcord is a pretty “small” community like the forums and pretty much less of a nightmare than #general. Genuinely met great people in level-25 and even they held back that insane amount of toxicity or mainly used it as a satire moment

stock had stupid opinions like saying that spirit weapons were weapons. by that logic i told him magic should be a fighting style but he said “no thats stupid”
racism was merely a catalyst for the ban
i got there in november 2023 and i dont use it much and people just go “who is this random” whenever i talk there

Sometimes I wish some actually looked closely at why we hate stocksounds and why “racism” wasn’t just the reason here. I just got a problem where people blame a little thing on us, knowing that we have like more reasons that just that (probably still insufficient but get the point)
