What’s wrong with Blackreach island?
I love Blackreach island.

It’s already been announced on Twitter.

OPEN SEALINGS FOR AN OPEN FIRE PIT?? THIS GUY DOES PRACTICAL INTERIORS !! MY LOVE !!

The vines are worrisome tho as they could be a fire hazard and rarely do plants grow on or under heat as they would dry up

the several entrances/exits are very reminscent to early buildings during the ottomans, the glassed windows weren’t as famous however…

image
Im assuming this is for ventilation and cooling for the entire building? a very nice detail !
image
the open storage area, Im assuming, could be seen as unsanitary even in old times. often in taverns or “inns”, they would have rooms entirely for preserving drinks and foods.

image
Im just gonna guess that there are people eating and drinking on these tables but just not rendered for the showcase, however empty tables during those times aswell would have often been cleaned and kept tidy. the turned over cup wouldn’t be as common as people think unless someone was there…

anyway, good build over all. I just love realism like these, the details is immense, wonderful work

Literally what I said, a spark flies up too high and boom, you get central heating and street lights across half Caitara
Admittedly though those are a bit temporary

historically we do have examples of buildings in those general areas to be widely spaced, and often times those house fires were harder to make than your common european houses in the same time period !

I wonder what kinds of easter eggs are there gonna be :sunglasses:

I think they are high enough to not be that much of a hazard, plus the fire can be maintained and regulated as well as the size of the vines.

Yep, it’s a windcatcher. A lot of humid places like Persia had them. It funnels wind and regulates the temperature of the building. It’s pretty ingenious.

Fantasy taverns aren’t known for being sanitary or well-kempt, but I get what you mean. Usually, there would be a cellar for storage, but I only had so much space to work with.

Yeah it’s just the studio build, there are NPCs in the game, but I don’t add those things in.

I agree, but I’d much rather have set dressing that gives the illusion of activity than have all the tables completely empty. Many video game environments do this, even historically grounded ones, like Assassin’s Creed.

Hey, are citizens going to come into the tavern?
It would be super cool if Vetex let them, maybe even made them sit somewhere so it looks like they’re actually drinking
Before our terrorist attack #259537 of course

How many gallons of alcohol are stored here at any given time

oh wow this is actually goated :fire:
Like literally afaik no other roblox game takes it to this detail. So cool frfr.

Not sure, I think so.

Enough :beers:

I appreciate it!

Yeah AO’s world can be pretty detailed but honestly I really like to look at deepwoken as an inspiration. The world design, especially towns, is very impressive.

the details might’ve been good if most people weren’t focused on trying to not die whilst killing each other/npcs
but I mean like oh well at least some people out there pay attention to details
keep up the good work! :+1:

I mean, AO also has people going around hunting each other and destroying buildings.

But yeah, I didn’t really gel with Deep’s gameplay, but I still think the map is impressive.

Now imagine if this building could be destroyed
the lag that would follow…
