Yes im asking a Lego game forum because I can’t decide for myself shut up

Have you… opened the Terraria wiki, plus free integrated mod support.

I’d actually say kind of depends as great as terraria is
Are you willing to commit to grinding / looking for items you will need to get stronger?
Do you have friends?

If the awnser is no to both of those i would hold off until you can do one of those
Game gets pretty boring in the middle stages where you are just grinding to get an item for like 1 hour so you can fight a boss slightly better but the payoff feels great after you do it

Friends are a no-brainer because literally any game is better with them, but terraria is a special case where the game goes from a 7/10 in enjoyability to a 11/10 easily

Honestly you are getting your bang for your buck and the free, simple mod support for the game allows you to play hundreds of hours after you beat the game and heavily increases the replayability

so yea its worth

Yes and yes xd

yeah then i suggest buying, really good game

I was planning to I was just unsure

bro you have friends???

obviously its worth the price
doesnt mean you’ll like it, but that doesn’t make it worse

list of reasons as to why you should buy terraria

  • good combat
  • vanilla game has easy to make “challenges” (master mode, only 1 class, etc)
  • journey mode = creative mode, but you have to work for it
  • cool exploration (first playthrough)
  • funny traps (instant kill boulder lol)
  • feeling of success in every progress
  • very cool building possibilities

some other stuff which is mostly community made

  • online multiplayer
  • said multiplayer is similar to minecraft servers (regular survival or entirely new game)
  • community made inventory cheater called “terrasavr”

mostly tmodloader mods for this one

  • texture packs to manipulate how the game looks (yes, even those texture packs exist, creep)
  • mods which allow for portable cheats
  • quality of life mods (auto ore vein miner, custom boss healthbars, etc)
  • mods which add unbelievable amounts of content (calamity, thorium, fargo’s souls, etc)
  • mods which change the game entirely (most notably overhaul)

there might not be much to do in vanilla terraria after getting everything aside from self-imposed challenges and building, but mods extend your playtime for this game into the sky.

is there boss drops :point_right: :point_left:

is there sunkens :point_right: :point_left:

yeah

well yeah, just not blue stained knight weaponry or armor

Im getting it now

If you’re looking for more content after you beat the base game, then grab the modloader and download the calamity mod. It’s basically an expansion/overhaul of the base game. Just make sure you download the music mod as well so that you can listen to the amazing music created by the legendary DM Dokuro

bro really be asking if the 9th best selling game in the world is good or not

If it was worth it then why are there 8 games that sold better than it smh

shit…

Elment being that 1 out of 10 dentists who doesn’t recommend the toothpaste lmao.

(Like 15 people who say yes including me and elment being the 1 guy who says otherwise)
