Ice is one of the worst solo magics in the game, even with other magics still isn’t great

If you want to damage frozen use metal, which you 100% are using anyways if you go ice

snow is ice without magic size bonus, not worth the tradeoff
It is worth the trade off
snow bleed bonus = 0 (zero)%
ice bleed bonus = 40%
snow size bonus = 0 (zero)%
ice size bonus = 50% (1.5x)
snow bonus against FROZEN enemy: -60% (MINUS SIXTY% 
)
ice bonus against frozen enemy: 25% 
snow platform count = 0 (ZERO)
ice platform count = infinite
the fact ice needs the bleed to be good is already an indicator that it sucks
also the size bonus is extremely situational, like, you’re not gonna be underwater mostly when attacking
and besides why make platforms when this amazing game feature called a boat exists

I can’t imagine the underwater size boost to be very useful. Maybe against sea monsters, but in pvp opponents will keep as airborne as possible.
meta magics in WoM are, I believe shadow, water, and wind. This is because they work very well alone. With AO this meta will not be that because we’ll have combinations. Honestly just build a combo that you think will be interesting. For instance my mage is going to have crystal light and metal. Just because I think the crystal synergies are cool.

i had ice and snow , i couldnt 1v1 normal, like i deleted cuz it was so bad for 1v1

in ao who knows. With 2nd magics, more weapons (also more abilities), fighting styles, new and changed stats like intensity, attack speed etc it is very hard for us to know
i doubt even the testers can give a definitive answer. We will just have to see
