I feel like the 3 should be one legendary weapon user, one special fighting style user, and a curse user
I’m gonna be hella disappointed if they’re just one piece admirals but evil

Pretty sure it’s around 4 months but your point still stands since that is impressive progress.
Also I definitely approve of your idea for how each one should be armed
AO Simulator, get strong and kill every kingdom and faction without care, awesome
Though I still wouldn’t mind if they were fightable, but makes sense if they weren’t
I get the feeling that the head assassins are all warriors and I don’t know why
Because Assassins using weapons is… something ingrained in cultural memory.
Also, less conspicuous than Fighting Style users (who likely have noticeable calluses), or Magic users (who are presumably under extra scrutiny from governments. And security personnel). Hiding a weapon is easier than concealing training in a fighting style, or the ability to use magic, if you plan on actually, you know, being an assassin, rather than a somewhat stealthy bandit/ morally inverted bounty hunter.
they all use daggers
that is just a must.
Duh. Daggers are some of the easiest weapons to have, without letting other people know you have them. Of the weapons that (to my knowledge) exist in AO, that is. They might also have some kind of ring with a concealable poison spike (presumably very small), but that’s not likely to appear as a weapon in AO.
I also have the feeling that for some reason they all have like tragic backstories and are super old and aren’t actually like morally awful people once you get to really know them
… maybe one of them. Maybe.
anyways doesn’t matter I will destroy them all with the wrath of my clanless warden
the vitality stat WILL prevail
Assassin’s aren’t always stealthy and a weapon is alot more suspicious than calluses (which certain weapons can give too).
If I wanted somebody dead would I choose the guy with a knife or a guy that can nuke the island and make SURE the target is dead
Yeah, some weapons give calluses when you train with them (or just use them) long enough. However, a weapon is only suspicious, if people can tell you have one. Also, Assassins, aside from the ones that are just the criminal version of bounty hunters (in AO), are usually at least stealthy enough that people don’t notice them before they*ve killed the target. Or not very successful. I do, however, acknowledge that it is possible that our definitions of “assassin” may differ. I, personally, use one that requires at least some stealth.
That depends on a few factors. For one, am I willing to have the collateral damage from the island nuke? For another, is it likely for opportunities for the knife guy to occur? If I don’t want collateral damage, a weapon user (or someone who can just poison the target) is likely to be a better choice.
Agreed it definitely depends on factors.
My definition of assassin is just a guy attempting to kill a person with the highest chance of success/some sort of plan.
JFK’s assassin did it in broad daylight at a parade, Roosevelt’s tried it in broad daylight during a speech, and some Nazi officers were planning to blow Hitler up when he got next to a specific bomb which all aren’t very stealthy. Assassin’s preferably need a degree of stealthiness going in (and out of they wanna continue their life) an assassination attempt, but you can still assassinate somebody with basically 0 stealthiness
