nah its been consistently very influential and important for nearly 2 millenia or more, less so in the modern era yes but it still had major events that most of the world cares about in the past few centuries

[i forgot the word]) of the islamic world, aswell as having the most technologically advanced ancient civilizations which also invented a dozen ancient games that still get played to this day is soooo little compared to some people drowning a few times

there are so few GLOBALLY impactful events no country has these types of events, usually from a collective group of countries or some sort of war, but i will state some events and things in general that had a big impact on a large group of countries.
- Halting the mongols progress into the rest of the middle east and north africa and africa in general
- All the israel conflicts
- A major role during the times of the prophet (pbuh) in spreading islam and fighting many types of enemies that i dont think i can list all of them without forgetting some
- Generally being a major stronghold for islam and even pre islamic times in the middle east and north africa
- Had many of the most talented and wise scholars & scientists & mathmeticians in general in the world (obviously not in recent timesโฆ)
