You can put Crushing Judgement on Argos’ Big Axe and it makes it only require 110 Str/Wep (plus some from slot)
Wait, how is colossal cleave good for cheesing? I was under the impression it’s just a better looking Pulsar
I like the explanation for conjurer-only weapons and your solution to balance with other builds, but how about we expand with other builds like paladins and warlocks? Like your explanation with conjurers, do you think they should have their own technique/spell scrolls dedicated to those builds, as most strength and magic scrolls are out of their reach?
I think it’s a great idea, and preferably, you are able to add in a spell to replace a move entirely instead of switching modes to exclusively cast spells. Basically, from a programming perspective: less work. And from a gameplay perspective: less complicated.
So by default if you want to use weapons skills or magic spells without the split requirement for both magic and weapons, you un-imbue it.
If you want to split the requirement to both magic and weapons, you imbue it.
Is this what you’re thinking about btw?
It should also apply to savants to split their requirements into 3 or 4 in the future or something just by imbuement.
pierces terrain
npc gets stuck on terrain, i stand far enough back, i throw colossal cleave at them, it hits sweetspot and they take damage
repeat until they’re dead
any other situation and honestly any other projectile is better
Well thats gonna be more spirit weapons
I agree, but I think that arcanium weapons should have a heavy focus on magic. make them conjurer exclusive, and have it so magic is needed to operate the weapon. Someone had an idea of a bow where the string was made of your magic type, so something like that. And then there would be the magic weapon skills. I had one idea where you bring a sword up in the air, it extends using magic(like a magic blade) and you strike it down.
