Well Mad City is kind of a jailbreak clone, ( taymaster is known for taking heavy inspiration from games that are popular around the time of the game, lest face it he even looks like badcc) but meepcity is pretty original.
Although Voxblade proved something to me,The reason why grindy games are more popular than games that seek to be an adventure is because of quantity over quality as most opt to play something with worse quality but more content and well that in most cases the creators abandon their games for X or Y reasons,Which is logical
Imo voxlblade wasn’t that grindy nor had too little of it it was a perfect balance for me (at least assuming you did the gimmicks), it had both quality and quantity but just extreme lack of updates.
True
this game dropped like a brick
meep city came before adopt me did it not?
also madcity and jailbreak are real different. (Last I checked)
My nostalgic heart : (
We all know taymaster, first mad murderer then mad city, i think its a bit coincidental his last two games were riding off of more popular games
Forsaken shore had a really shitty camera which ruined the experience for me
We’ve also got good old Monster Islands to add to that list
Starscape actually has an extremely loyal playerbase, so yes it has less players than before, but it’s never gonna dip under 100 for the next yesr at least. unless some scandalous shit happens (probably won’t because solo dev)
true
Voxlblade was abandoned by its dev due to mounting pressures on him irl and the shitty coding of the game itself.
Although recently the dev has recovered from his shitty state and seems to be making a new game now (most likely just voxlblade revamped or smth similar from what I heard)
RoN is sadly dying however with its long time for updates.
A tragedy
I haven’t played it but I heard a lot
How he died
Lucky that starcape PvE is the main thing while PvP is just for stealing from others although I wish more people would play it.
twas a game made for an event that ended like 3 years ago, also has pretty much no replayability.
twas enjoyable tho
It has an insane amount of grinding requirements for endgame lol
