its a short party game, very fun. theres some progression but once you’re done, you’re done. theres grinding though, so collectors would probably play it for a good while. might get a couple thousand players but i dont see it retaining a solid count in its current state
vet made it because it was a really old game he tried but failed to make a long time ago, and he randomly wanted to refurbish and finish it. likely wont be updated due to this fact, and also because he has his other game to work on
and by short i mean up to an hour per round cuz theres some bulllshiiiiiit
isnt an hour per round kinda crazy ![]()
oh this isnt the other game? interesting
How many players can be in a party? Four?
4 max for the smaller options
only if you suck or choose the longer round options
how long do you think one could theoretically make a single round?
10 minutes
Assuming they don’t just play one singular round and drop it, how many hours do you think your average player will put into it? Like, thee to five?
idk if theyre invested to max the skill tree probably like 10 hours
Lowkey I remember playing both Adventure Story and World of Magic without even knowing they were made by the same developer. Pure luck allows me to not be a larper
It seems like Warren’s ghost wanders these halls
me neither lol
i sit corrected it will be updated !!!
we all rejoice
now that the games out i feel this thread ought to be revived
first impressions:
the gameplay is pretty fun, im not 100% sure how exactly the vacuuming works yet (like the optimal way to do so) but i was able to solo my first x small mansion
my critiques:
i think the map generation could use some improvements, the mansion i did had 2 separate stairways that led to 2 separate parts of the house so i was constantly walking across the entire mansion to do 1 room then back to do another due to how the keys work
additionally i personally did not see any of the interactable drawers or wtv but idk if i just missed them or if the map didnt have any, so either some sort of guarantee that they spawn or a ui/vfx to indicate where they are would be nice
some rooms have 1 or 2 ghosts while others have 5, this isnt a big critique from me but idk i got body slammed in my second room because there were 4 ghosts on me and then everything else was a breeze
my overall thoughts:
ive only done 1 map, i did it solo (this is a friendslop game) and was still able to beat it and have fun while doing so, therefore i think the games pretty good tbh
They are everywhere, but you don’t need the Q key at all, just vacuum everything and you’ll get loot eventually.
The problems I want to point out are, firstly, the softlocking butler that can just teleport into a wall and your run is over, and the fact that we can’t recolour items, so we have to gamble for the correct colour every time. You’d think the devs have learned how people hate that, since they added dyers to AO.
gonna play it when I complete the chapter I’m writing
