Group of Astrology mages find powerful magic curse energy in space, they build cool telescope blablabla,
They claim island and name it “Astralis”, decades pass and their offspring turns it into a weird evil religion thing just to get power over people like “Oooh better listen to us otherwise god will strike you down!”,
Then astrea is born as the final decendant of the original founder, and she breaks out blablabla, they hunt her down and turn the telescope into an execution device, at which her eye is pierced (hence the bandage) and it turns out the telescope as a gateway to a planet holding the star curse.
She spends 5 minutes (equivelant to 500 years on earth) on that planet, and comes back to Astralis being in insanity 4.
