Attempted to ask out a classmate a few years back in elementary, actually did some walking around and stuff. That was the closest experience I’ve had with “asking your crush to hang out”
I remember vividly getting rejected the first time I asked out a girl

it was in the 6th grade, I was highly cringe back then and went up to the girl and told her I liked her
obviously, she said no, and I cried for like a day until I got over it and finished out school that year, hanging out with another girl although this isn’t the girl that I like
7th grade rolls around, participated in athlethics and track that year and did pretty well, didn’t win the soccer cup for the district but it was alright
I made new friends, some of which I’m still friends with to this very day. finished 7th with some pretty good grades, which I was happy about
8th grade rolls around, got a knee injury but I started talking to that girl again, the ORIGINAL one (and for name’s sake we’ll call her Ava although that wasn’t her actual name)
Ava at the time was “single” but talking to another guy when I started talking to her, and this is around March that year so track is starting back up and I won quite a bit of races that year, which made me feel good about myself
I asked her out around May, a few weeks before my birthday and she said yes
still dating to this day, and the moral is that if you really want something go for it

I have not asked anyone out or plan to ask anyone out. Too shy and really can’t talk to anyone anymore bc of the way the online service my school uses works and the fact that they dont go to in person school. I truly want to ask someone out bc if i get rejected I will know what rejection feels like and can learn from it. But at the same time I don’t want to mess up the relationship we had before.
Persistence. I admire it. The best to the both of you, my acquaintence. You’re teaching a good lesson to us, and I hope others pick up on this.

I used to get asked out a lot by differnet people when I was younger. Maybe I’m attractive??? 
Anywho, I used to go out with them, but I was a little troublemaker when I was younger as well. So their friends would convince them to break up with me.
Now, I reject all people who ask me out. I’m waiting until I graduate university to get married.
