Block Tales’ story is lowkey lame.
bro fax!!
Now this is just cruel
coughing baby vs hydrogen bomb
They put him up against a nerfed Theos just to pour salt in the wound lmao
first mind theos low diffs
3 year old theos neg diffs fym
Yet another L take from stocksounds
true, true. even if calvus ganked afk baby theos with all of ravenna he still couldnt win
It picked up at Chapter 2, but all of Chapter 1 was just me walking around doing things and then suddenly I’m killing a king for no reason, and I have his sword, yippee, now I want more.
Then Chapter 3 is just silly. The goofy Lego game is now an adventure into your subconscious to destroy your negative traits that you never even displayed as they put you through terrifying puzzles.
It seems like it’s trying to be like Kirby where it just throws an eyeball monster at you eventually, but it does it wrong.
from what I ive heard about block tales’ story (which is absolutely nothing) id say its fairly bad given Id heard abt aa’s lore before I even played it.
-John deepwoken player complaining about ao
Ah yes because niether the cruel kings nor the griefers plots could’ve POSSIBLY hinted this game would have deeper tones
To be fair block tales doesn’t really have any deep lore, it’s just kind of going along as it happens.
Granted oneshot pulled this off so it absolutely isn’t a dealbreaker or something
I hope you know stock isn’t talking about AO
I do I’m just pointing out this exact complaint has been said before about they game they are currently playing, and is just as correct (that is to say not at all half the chapter was build up to killing the king)
Except AO has the mc barrel through the bronze sea on purpose. (I cannot find the reply with the proof but I assume u either read it or can find it)
While blox tales just has sub par writing
Dude this is just false
It has the mc barrel through the story for the exact same reason, none of the major plot points have been picked up yet so there’s no reason to lag behind. Until the cruel king this is just set up as genetic roblox themed rpg with zero deeper meaning, the game slows down afterward because the cruel king fight was kinda fucked up, and also we have hatred weighing on us afterward
AO dedicates like, two-thirds of the Sea’s story to finding out that Ravenna is evil. I don’t remember a single instance in Block Tales where I had a reason to commit regicide for a dagger, honestly.
You have had exactly 0 points that aren’t “I didn’t pay attention to dialogue and can’t figure out what’s happening”
I’m quite ashamed of how little attention I paid to AO’s story the first couple times, but in Block Tales I had plenty of attention on the story, it just literally never came up until after I got it.
