if its what i think it is, get an alt to farm 5000 shield guard npcs with only one island discovered (so i assume you dont proceed through the story past maria and dont discover sameria)

then have your main dig them up

the issue i see with this is that you have to level up an alt and also give them good enough gear to actually farm the npcs

I don’t think he uses an alt, he probably just grinds so many guards that he has that many charts for all islands

Why not? It’s a simple thing to implement, and it makes sense. Just separate open world chests and treasure chart chests, and put the flag on open world chests. There is probably a simpler way to do so, or maybe what Vetex has to do is more complicated. I don’t know since I don’t know how the game is coded.

Yeah, but if vetex was willing to code that in he’d be willing to implement a safegaurd against speedrunners getting banned

Thus far I don’t think it has been confirmed that a “speedrunner” has been false banned. In essentially 99.99% of cases, if not all of them, it has been accurate in deducing exploiters. Show me an actual 100% confirmed false banning of someone.

how i assume the chest anti cheat is coded goes like:

the game records the time and position of each chest you open
if it detects you open two chests that are very far apart in a very short time it triggers
so mass opening a ton of chests close together won’t trigger it and depending on how it’s implemented neither will lag

funny enough I was banned once
all I did was pick up a few mushrooms on elm island
then anticheat activated SOMEHOW.
(I got unbanned a bit later)

the issue with that is that when you complete a chart for a different person, it levels the chart owner’s file up. It would be inefficient to repeatedly make files only for them to go over the 1.5x threshold.

it can be counteracted by just wiping the file and making a new one(and subsequently getting it to level 20, grind charts until its lvl 80, and then repeat)
