I’m pretty sure it was an automated ban, but the problem is that the moderators didn’t even want to talk to me in the appeal ticket that I made — they just closed it.
But yeah, I had evidence prepared previously because I was pretty sure I would be banned for some reason again in the future.
I got a bit of free time rn I’ll look into it ig

they probably didn’t look at it closely once they saw that you got banned in wom too, you probably should’ve just gave them the screenshots immediately instead of waiting for someone to respond
Noober is the #1 moderator if you have any chance of getting unbanned it’s from him because he actually cares unlike a number of moderators I’ve talked to just know it’s not his fault if he can’t do anything about it.
The same thing happened to me too
But I didn’t really know how to make an appeal with evidence from WoM when the game was AO, so my original plan was to figure things out and provide the evidence a little further into the conversation.
I probably should’ve given the screenshots at the beginning now that you mention it.

yeah but its still irresponsible on their part, they must be receiving lots of ban appeals but they still need to look at each and every one properly

That may as well be true, but to be fair they are being overloaded with thousands of tickets - which puts a lot of pressure on them.
As long as legitimate players can successfully appeal their ban, then it wouldn’t be so bad — unfortunately thats not always the case.

@anon72911892 I just looked into it, currently asking the original banner about it since the proof isn’t concrete. However I’ll say that the ban isn’t correlated with chests so you don’t need to worry about that

thats the problem - it doesn’t matter if every exploiter is getting banned when you’re also banning innocent players. i think they’re getting more mods (vetex put out a mod application) so that should somewhat help to solve the issue
