agility has one but we need MORE for both agility and OTHER substats

i’m lazy so don’t expect these to be good i’m just throwing them out there.

Power and Defense because they’re main stats
Drawback, Insanity, Warding, obviously
Piercing, Regeneration, Resistance, because all I can think of for these are overpowered things like Piercing causing stun to people who block or completely ignoring it


Attack Size: Your attacks cause mini-explosions that deal a percentage (depending on investment) of the original attack’s damage. AOE is half as big as the main attack’s AOE so then your moves have a technical soft spot, but when you’re on the dot it’ll hurt more. This sounds broken so probably not. So like two hitboxes, sort of like this.

Attack Speed: I’m thinking either, a) your attacks have an afterimage that’ll act like a second projectile, sort of like setting your Blast to 2. This won’t effect your endlag. The time it takes until it shoots after your initial projectile would be lowered with more attack speed.

then there’s option b) which is just add a sort of flashstep involvement for “physical” moves (since Attack Size sort of covers “Ranged” moves), making it to where things like Crash will go extremely quickly, alongside the same/similar effect as the Agility Breakpoint.


Intensity: When charging your Energy, you also charge a bit of Stamina. That actually sounds really helpful I’m not gonna lie.


Doing these breakpoints (as I call them) for substats is kinda complicated. Agility’s made sense, especially since this game is technically, inheritely, an “anime” game, flash stepping and teleporting makes perfect sense. But what the hell do you do for a more extreme attack size???

Like, “oh I’ve been training my speed for years check out this super-speed technique I learned” makes sense, but “oh I’ve been training my attack size,” not so much. So yeah don’t blame Vetex if he doesn’t do this because it’s kinda complicated.

Yeah I’m tired rn these are awful ideas. I like the Attack Size one most because then it rewards actual good aim. The second circle would probably be much smaller. Think around Piercing Shot’s AOE. Also, the damage increase wouldn’t be massive or anything, just like, 5% at most with lots of investment. (still helps out though)

red lightning magic which is normal lightning but on crack
also an accessory with a million attack size it’d be funny

Deepwoken based combat and a actual system for pvpers to queue in to pvp (Like chime in DW)

Tower of God inspired items like lighthouses and hooks

I’m betting the red lightning will be a lost/ancient in the future it’s too cool to not be. Vetex probably should give it a unique effect first

Oh yeah perhaps the red lightning (Ancient Lightning) will be a lost and half of electron magic (no clue where I’m going)

The red lightning turns out to be a color variant of aether lightning :zap:

ohhhh that works. makes aiming less required but also less rewarding to not do so

a build that has the max possible of every stat besides drawback or insanity that would update with the game
currently, if my calculations are right, it would have
2865 defense
247 power
441 agility
559 attack speed
569 attack size
529 piercing
534 resistance
502 regeneration
521 intensity
6 warding

jewels:
140% swim speed
280% water breathing
70% blocking power
280% climbing speed
280% energy regen
280% terrain destruction
280% attack knockback (it would be funny to have a 500 damage giant fire blast flying at you that sends you into the air)

in total i would have
-about 4000 hp
-about 400 damage
-incredibly fast and large attacks
-powerful movement capabilities
-sending anyone i hit into the stratosphere
-completely countering “block parry dodge”
-“You can’t escape!”
-darkflame (from intensity)
-destroying ravenna
-nanomachines
-regenerate from any attack in a matter of seconds

essentially this build could make it possible for one to go toe to toe with vetex
