And usually ships like pirate or assassin ones do slow down alongside my own.

There’s a lagzone between masts and sameria (got hit by it when nimbus first released and I had finished the maria segment of the story), it’s pretty big and there’s no real indicators of it.
There’s also one in bronze, slightly north of othrys where the titan caverns entrance is but a fair bit wider. I think this one is a bit more well known, I often experienced this when I went there for clearstones, coppers, or other stuff in the past
I’m not sure what causes these lagzones but they’re seriously annoying to get caught in

I genuinely have no fucking clue how the fuck was I slowed down all the time while the navy ship was moving just fine
Besides I’m much rather going to complete 3 charts at claw island and then 2 at forest of masts than 1 at makrinaos, 1 at drakos, 2 at sameria, 1 at shale reef

Not sow the field and care for the crops and then have flood, grasshoppers, forest fires or whatnot sent at it anyways

then why would he add the charts in shitty areas? ignoring said charts doesnt magically fix the problem

I’m a criminal mainly because of the free cargo, but kinda also because of the extra challenge when I feel like fighting off the navy
That, however, is not when I cannot escape at all and all of my attacks are slowed for no reason

The three points I made all lead together to say “If you’re 100% going to die if you enter this area and you know you’re going to die if you enter this area, why are you entering this area?”
yes i understood that.
If you know you are going to 100% die if you go to said area, why does the gave give you an incentive to go to said area, while taking incentives away from other areas?

AS I SAID, the navy hadn’t hunted me for all that time. And besides, usually if I’m in the lagzone, everything is in the lagzone.

you don’t need to be a prophet to piece things together.
Notoriety = Navy will hunt me
If the navy will hunt me then I shouldn’t enter a lag zone where I’m a sitting duck even if they are not currently hunting me.
Solution: Remove notoriety before they start hunting me or remove bounty altogether.
as said above, that wasn’t even supposed to happen. If my ship and attacks were slowed, so should’ve been all other ships and attacks of other NPCs in the area, as it usually is.
But alas, when the game wishes to assfuck me, nothing is impossible.
