Poison and glass are the only ones I remember specifically and I can see them really changing how people view the magic.
75% piercing and 25% power on poison and 125% power -25% defense on glass will definitely make a big difference.

acidmancer gear.
Oh right, I forgor.
My Acid Warlock is eating GOOD when I get those enchanted
I want to get blasted arcanium gear solely for vanity purposes because I think it might save the bright orange of explosion gear for me lol.
(I wish my armor paints suggestion was implemented)
Alright new topic for the meta.
Now that I think about it none of us mentioned fighting style armor. It’s a shame because some of them look really good while others are Iron Leg.
that works amazingly.
the polar opposite to sunken armor
makes me wonder what crystalized purple poison looks like.
drowned water, frozen ice/snow, archaic wood/earth/metal, sandy sand, superheated heat magics.
i gave a coherent reason, it’s because i think if you want to be covered in a magic more than the one you use then why not use that instead, or wait until second awakening so you can pick it
i don’t think of arcanium armour as just differently coloured metal, it is magic flowing through it exuding its properties
i recognise that this opinion is unpopular and nonsensical to most of the people here, but your reasoning eludes me
Bright orange energy projectiles look cool.
Bright orange plate armor looks like shit.
it is genuinely that simple.
Is it so hard to see that a poison mage could want shadow armor for vanity?
Or a sand mage could want… literally anything else.
I think one issue is that it would be harder to tell what people and even NPCs are going to have.
(Edit: Misread. Shocked they’re not)
I mean cmon, who is trying to tell what magic a person is using by their vanity?
just wait for them to use literally any attack and you have an answer.
anybody that explores the dark seas knows the only way to find out what you’re about to fight is to fight lol.
Again with that similar-colors situation I said earlier. Which one is Cold Wind and which one is Ice? Both are actually Spring Water, but you wouldn’t know without the tiniest symbol out there since they’re visually similar.
hello i can answer that, i am a sand magic user and the armor looks shitty while amethyst crystal armor looks really good
i hope this helped
I’ve realized the error of my ways.
(I think having frozen snow armor while being an ice mage could be kinda based…)
it is, if someone thinks shadows are cool enough to cover themself in them then i don’t see why they wouldn’t it as part of their skillset
please come up with better points against a feature that would only improve the game when arguing against it
what if someone just wants to be misleading or they like the way another armor set looks? I dunno
purple/black color scheme is a commonly liked one.
are you stupid? should outfits have 0 contrast?
