Getting back on topic I’m loving the art direction for the Nimbus Wilds and Skyhall especially! I like that as you get further into the game all the locations start looking more and more detailed though I know that wasn’t entirely intentional. The two new fighting style are very well designed and fit perfectly into the game since they make use of mechanics and concepts players can interact like gunpowder barrels and invisibility potions.

I appreciate the lack of pay-to-win features and how I can play knowing the game is a real passion project and not a cash-grab.
they made Arcane Odyssey which in my opinion is a pretty cool thing to do

I have to give it to him, he is holding quite well against the community, knowing the community, it certainly takes dedication to still work on a game he loves while dealing with a community that normally fights between each other if they aren’t hating on Vetex. Most devs would have already quitted by now…
Nonetheless, even if i may not like some ideas that Vetex has, my love for the other ideas out, uh, outlikes? the hate.

Pretty sure that ER gives you all of the information that you need to have.
See equipment that you haven’t seen before? It’s probably a drop.
Boss drops? You get to pick which one you get.
Non-humanoid drops? You’ll beat so many of them that you’ll figure out that they can drop things.
Numerical scaling for weapons, exact endurance required for light loading with your current equip load, and information on how status effects scale with your stats can’t be found in the game but I digress as we’re a bit off topic now.
While AO is by no means perfect, it would be a crime to not acknowledge the massive impact this game and its community has had on my life.
I feel like I wouldn’t have survived freshman year without this place lmao, in a way, the forums were my form of escapism, a lot of my bestest online friends originated from this space.
While we do shit a lot on this community and make fun of the development team and balance team for all kinds of stuff, I think the fact they managed to even create something large enough for a community to banter with is really something, and I can tell the quality of the world has really improved with full release. The amount of passion and time put into making the environments into this game is something else that most other roblox games today don’t really care for.

Thank you vetex, for making this incredible game with a legacy that spans miles worth of lore, even if some things or design choices aren’t particularly great, AO is still absolutely one of my favorite roblox experiences of all time, and has inspired a lot of my own worldbuilding.
Thank you forumers, for being my main source of online interaction throughout my years, I know that I haven’t gotten along that well with all of you, but overall I’d say it’s been a good run.
And thank you to my friends who’ve I’ve made on here, you guys mean a lot to me, believe it.
The changes in Reminds for AO Part 4 today are absolutely amazing! Tons of really good stuff getting done lately. Always a big fan of some much needed QoL changes. Seems like Partcline and especially Moochezz are very receptive to giving players the especially necessary stuff they want.
