have you seen the joke of tropey high level female armour in rpgs (that is basically just a bra) being made due to survivorship bias
ie “90% of injuries and damage that we see is done to these parts specifically, so obviously we should move as much of the armour to these parts as possible to protect the user more!”
survivorship bias is this thing where basically, so planes in ww2 get damaged right, and you can’t have too much armour or it won’t fly yeah? So basically, people looked at the damage that planes had when they landed, and moved the armour to those places that got heavily damaged. However, this proved to be ineffective, because they were only considering the planes that managed to get back, rather than the planes that took a hit that completely shot them down.

My defense to putting him in skimpy armor is that he has the blizzard curse so physical attacks can’t hurt him bcuz he phases into pure blizzard energy before getting hit and when fighting curse users or other powerful people he blocks attacks to his torso by making a plate of rock-solid ice and snow momentarily and dispells it
