Spanish streamers flooded us deepwoken players as well, and complained that we were heretics and “should have been grateful they gave us a 10x10 space” (They did not, in fact, give us any space)

It was like a war. We had to attack, defend our territories, our leaders had to diplomatically arrange alliances. Then they dropped a nuke on us.

God, I thought the first r/place was crazy, this year’s was absolute and COMPLETE chaos. Amazing that our funny little lightning bolt managed to survive so much insanity.
