Golden retriever personality: friendly, gentle, outgoing, loyal, & happy-go-lucky
Certified cloudcuckoolander
“If it works, it works!”
Sometimes accidentally violates common sense
Motormouth
Tends to speak fast, more than likely will need to be told to slow down and repeat what she just said
Indoor voice? Nope, this girl is as loud as it gets
Animal lover
Chaotic Good: Acts as her conscience directs her to with little regard for others’ expectations of her; she makes her own way, but is still benevolent and kind
Zoey Yagami (Plasma/Fire Paladin)
Stoic yet stern attitude
Somewhat aloof but warms up to others over time
Silence is gold, she doesn’t talk much out of preference
Tends to be softspoken when she does speak
Won’t attack unless provoked
Graceful, yet tough
Lawful Neutral: Believes in concepts such as honor, order, rules, and tradition, but follows her own personal code in addition to the codes set down by authority
Is a mild tsundere (“You didn’t have to do this for me, you know.”)
Amber Winchester (Acid/Thermo Fist Warlock)
Super chill and calm
Likes sparring, but doesn’t engage in unnecessary conflict
Enjoys sailing and exploring
Is 100% a tomboy
Kinda hard to read sometimes
Lawful Good: Acts as a good person is expected or required to, constantly abides by rules and will only break them if absolutely necessary
Believes that the greater good should not require innocents to die period. He sent a great deal of relief supplies to Fort Talos after the fort became unstable and partially collapsed. Every galleon came from his own pocket.
Fights to incapacitate when able, at least for people who he doesn’t know. Against murderers and stuff though, he uses every bit of force he can.
Doesn’t care for or even want fame.
Amber Cinders (Magma Warlock, Chaotic Neutral)
Anarchist, albeit a subdued one. Thinks the navy’s one and only business is arresting criminals, and should never hold power beyond that.
Nowhere near as kind as Kaden, though she isn’t needlessly cruel. For the most part, she simply doesn’t connect with people, preferring instead to leave them be.
Talks to herself, and animals… and inanimate objects.
Spends most of her time alone.
Warms everything with magma magic. This includes baths. You can tell she’s had one recently when her skin is almost as red as her hair.
Taunts Iris relentlessly. Her go-to is Iris’s height. She’s way more powerful than Iris and is not afraid to throw her around, so Iris can’t really say anything back.
Noelle Taiga:
•She’s very introverted and shy when it comes to being around people. She’ll be hesitant to open up to someone unless they treat her with kindness.
•As you get to know her, she’s super sweet and kind, almost too sweet. Many people take advantage of this fact and use her kindness to step all over her since she doesn’t really “fight back”.
•Noelle grew up outcasted by people she grew up with, which is why she’s grown shy and reserved.
•Even through her amnesia, her anxiety and stutter still persisted.
•Due to her not knowing what her purpose was in life (because of memory loss), she’s entered a slightly depressive state. She’s still trying her best to stay optimistic, but only by a thread.
•Noelle found comfort in makeup as it served as a distraction from her worries, and also because she finds it fun to do lol
She likes feeling pretty sometimes
Abigail got very traumatized by getting attacked by General Julian and being sent to the Eternal Mines, so now she hates being separated from her friends for long lengths of time and is somewhat clingy towards them, always hesitates when exploring caves/underground places, and freaks out whenever she’s dealing with anyone who uses Glass Magic
Abigail became super secretive for a while because exposure to the Dark Sea’s rain during one expedition that lasted a bit longer than she intended it to caused fish scales to start developing on her left arm
Abigail’s personality changes heavily if she’s suffering from Insanity; she’s still docile, but she becomes paranoid, will alternate between maniacally laughing/acting like a madwoman and breaking into a panic, and has lessened awareness of her surroundings due to the hallucinations
In some versions of her story, if Aisha is confronted and defeated by someone who doesn’t want to kill her and isn’t able to retreat, she’ll give in and start giving details about her past if the person shows willingness to listen to her
Aura and Zoey are the least traumatized of my characters, but are still affected by some of the stuff they’ve been through
Abigail and Elvira are probably the most traumatized of my characters
Hmm, was going to save this, but I thought “Why not?”. Most people won’t see this till I make the post anyway
Ava Altair
Has a strong sense of morality and righteousness, would pretty much do anything for what’s right, and is not down from killing when she thinks its necessary.
However, she is very open when it comes to her views, and is very understanding when she understands that someone is not responsible for it. She doesnt like it when said people get hurt, such as the soldiers in the Fort Talos collapse, and Prince Revon.
Gets easily angered by injustice, to the point she becomes rather impulsive when doing something about it. Unlike Iris though, she gets deathly silent when angered. The most dangerous of the gang when angry lol.
Her impulsiveness stems from from her hubris, which means she is a little too confident in her abilities. Which can sometimes lead her to dangerous situations she shouldnt have been in.
However, she is very open and trusting of those around her. If someone who she trusts tells her outright that she can’t handle it, she’ll listen. Most of the time anyway.
She can hold grudges though, if someone were to break that trust, which she values, she would really be hurt or angered by it
She can be too honest, as a result of her morals. Which was one of the reasons why she got captured lol. She’s not too honest that it would hurt people’s feelings tho.
One of her greatest fears is doing something immoral or wrong, that she wouldnt forgive herself for it, or losing her morals to the point she stops caring about the people and the world around her.
Deep down, her actions stem from an unconscious desire of acceptance, so rejection and hatred for something she did would upset her and confuse her.
Her lack of thinking ahead is mainly due to her “in the moment” mindset, which is probably due to her amnesia and her not knowing her past and future. She doesnt understand abstract stuff like philosophy or destiny shenanigans as of now lol.
May as well update mine if this thread’s back from the coffin.
Maddox Gates
Excuses the Boykisser in his Captain’s Quarters as an inside joke among his crew
Among all planned professions, he’d probably end up being a Merchant.
If he wasn’t limited by two awakenings, he’d use Iron Leg or Vampirism as a fighting style and the Sunken weapons.
Desperately wants to learn how to grow the spiciest peppers the War Seas has to offer, partly because of the taste and partly because he may be clinically insane.
Worse anger issues than Iris, but doesn’t get expressive too much.
Would rather be dead than be around most NPCs (a few exceptions possibly being Estrid or Feremius Lurco), but would take ages to go back to normality if Morden or Warren dies.
Would pull a page out of Meng Ozun’s book if he wanted somebody to leave him alone.
A severe case of acrophobia and arachnophobia.
Closet Furry. Wait, does the furry fanbase even exist in Arcane games? It might because of the existence of the Crow Wings accessory and the Cat Ears/Tail so many people want added, but that’s the only proof of it.
Chuck Grey
Still a magic scientist; uses his Brig’s picture frames to keep track of Magics that are related to each other (i.e. Lightning + Earth = Explosion)
Still trying to create new Magics.
Among the planned professions, he’d most likely end up as an Alchemist, but as a side job.
A little less pissy than Iris.
Enjoys using Fighting Styles because they make his adrenaline go crazy
Plans to find a Karate instructor before switching to Radius Fist
Has little interest in The Myriad’s books compared to Maddox Gates, due to them being more of historical archives rather than science ones.
Has some toxicology knowledge
Synthia Banks
Freelance assassin with Earth Magic. Claims that the Ink and Paper Magic symbols in her Brig’s quarters are because she saw them in a dream.
Will be dead and buried before she abandons the Greatsword as her primary weapon.
Incredibly relaxed compared to the rest of the cast. More sociable too, but not annoyingly so.
Killed Lord Elius and Lady Carina because they would likely have been executed regardless near the end of the story.
More mentally stable than Chuck Grey and especially Maddox Gates
Among the currently planned professions, she’d likely end up as a Jewelcrafter.
Prefers using poison-based weapons to assassinate targets.
Will likely end up using Shatter Magic as her second Magic.
Cassandra Light
Would rather talk her way through the story, but fights anyway.
Joined the Navy purely so she’d have a somewhat safer place to rest.
Unknowingly comes from a long line of Light Mages, hence the surname.
Named after Cassandra from the SoulCalibur games.
Roy Blaze
The “Fight first, Questions later” mentality
A freelance bounty hunter
Secretly has a massive sweet tooth
Dresses like an edgelord only because black outfits are the easiest to find.
Alcazar Aletheia
Enby
Wishes they got anything other than Wood Magic, but keeps it around for ranged potential.
Prefers using their legs for fast movements rather than fighting
