i wouldnt get surprised but officialy (for now) hybrids get at least 1 lost/ancient magic
That’s old, hybrids might not even get an ancient magic if their requirement is level 450 because Vetex is planning for the level cap to be level 600 (it was originally 1000).
Meaning we have 1200 points, or for hybrids (480 to 720)
Originally we had 2000 or for hybrids (800 to 1200)
Currently lost/ancient stuff is planned for I believe level 300 and 450 for mages. So let’s apply a 2x for stat cost:
600 and 900 respectively.
So currently, at a level 600 cap, we can’t get Ancients, and if we do it’s the cheapest ones (which imo translates to the less cool ones). If it was level 450 but we had the level 1000 cap, the hybrids can def get ancient magics. As it stands right now though, hybrids can only get lost, and Savants get nothing.

If I could sacrifice Savants as a class for 1 extra skill point per level I would.
savant max invest cap per stat is 50% so basically savant can learn Lost magic
It’s not capped at 50%? Last I recall it was 40%, but if it’s 50% then I assume it comes at the requirement of everything else below 40%.
i think maybe it would be fine if hybrids get ancients, but not every hybrid
you should have to invest like the full possible 60% into magic to get an ancient as a hybrid

Nope, sorry. There was a funny hoax by somebody (Maplestorm, I think) of somebody getting the Light Curse.
Same person also made a hoax about Golden Watermelons though, and we all know how that one turned out.
